03/12/2004 Entry: "Friday Five + Random Dreams"

Edamood: MAD in love with the fact that it's Friday!

1. What was the last song you heard?
"Pts of Athrty" from Linkin Park's "Reanimation" album. My "Brand New Day" CD is too scratched up to listen to anymore. T_T

2. What were the last two movies you saw?
On television, while channel surfing to while away the Little's feeding time, it was snippets of "Jaws II" and "Seven." Movies that I pulled out of cardboard boxes to watch were "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" and "Ocean's Eleven." Movies that we went out and rented from the local video store were "Identity" and "Panic Room." Movies that we actually paid suitcases of drug money to see on the big screen were "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" and "Pirates of the Caribbean."

3. What were the last three things you purchased?
Half a pound of creamy Havarti cheese, ten Cameo apples, and a gallon of milk. If you mean non-daily-life items, then it was a Chevy Tahoe, a two-story house in Brentwood, and just yesterday, Hubby paid the remainder owing on his Yamaha R6.

4. What four things do you need to do this weekend?
*picks four items out of the hundreds in her to-do jar* Begin the Great Website Make-Over of 2004. Unpack some of my clothes, now that the weather seems to be turning. Continue working on the four gift arts that I owe people and that I am determined to finish by summer.

5. Who are the last five people you talked to?
The guys lounging around the office over yonder. *waves hand at the Friday morning crowd* If you mean meaningful conversation, however, then it would be my mother, the baby, Hubby, DC whom I ran into at the grocery store, and Teri via IM.

Dreams I've had this week:

I was being processed for shipment to a small planet similar to Earth in construction, but with absolutely no sentient lifeforms. The atmosphere was such that I would stop aging and never die of any illness. I spent the entire dream weeping and begging for mercy, and at one point actually preferred to be sent to Hell to be tormented by demons than to spend all eternity alone on this ferny little planet without possibility of parole or death.

I was on the set of "America's Next Top Model" and sat there with the hopefuls chatting about who I thought would be the last two finalists on the show before going out for thin-crust pesto duck pizza served with glasses filled with a mixture of water and Sprite.

I was pregnant again, and spent my days fearful because it seemed the house was becoming sentient. Walls would stretch, new rooms would begin to grow off of hallways, and I always felt as if the house was watching the inhabitants. I was especially afraid of what might happen should the house ever get pissed, and so I kept a very close eye on Jonathan, who was toddling around and apt to be randomly destructive in the way of all toddlers.
